Tina Fey and Amy Poehler: Hilarious Golden Globe Hosting

It isn’t easy to host any kind of award ceremony. You must be prepared for wardrobe change, speech memory, protocole following and be funny. In ceremonies like “The Academy Awards” you have a bigger budget for hosting, an example of that case was Hugh Jackman hosting the Oscars in 2009, considered as one of the best opening performances in all the time, even though he has only hosted once.

The Golden Globes are a very difficult task to overcome, you have a lower budget and wider audience, on “The Oscars” is all about the films meanwhile on the Golden Globes is all about films and television. The Golden Globe Awards 2013 was hosted by actresses Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, after a two year consecutive run for british comedian, Ricky Gervais.

Anne Hathaway Reaction towards Tina Fey joke about James Franco.

I remembered boths Gervais opening monologues, one mocking against Hugh Hefner engagement and the other agains Mel Gibson. There was nothing in Gervais speech that could resemble as good comedy. There were creative insults, that’s all. Presenting himself with a glass of scotch and a shortly open shirt started his criticism calling it a monologue, it was most likely as an raged intervention speech. Luckily this year, the combination of female comedians work perfectly for changing the humor during the ceremony.

I think this award show has had the most memorable quotes from many actors, directors and actress, but everything with the mood settlement of the Fey and Poehler. The level of their comedy could be described as bold, smart, essential, hilarious. When you watched so many american sitcoms, you understand a line of thinking that prepared you for obvious jokes. My humor radar couldn’t predict what the hostesses were going to say.

We could list and we are going to, all the funny references and quotes the girls said for preparing an unique and once in a while show.
