Australia, home of the koalas, kangaroos and Crocodile Dundee. It is also the home of many actors now dedicated to american film industry. Nicole Kidman, Chris Hemsworth, Eric Bana, Naomi Watts, Hugo Weaving among many others.
Since most commercial films take place on the United States it’s only logical that a high percent of the movies cast are American, so taking this into account, it becomes perfectly natural when you find out actors belonging to specific nationalities and ask yourself, do they really get along?
Well I can’t speak for all of them, but I sure can give one example. Russell Crowe – Hugh Jackman. In an interview to EW, Jackman told that in the past few years, they have become really good pals, they got to know each other very well and the most important is that Russell Crowe gave meaningful advices in the turning moments of his life..
“Support” is what according to Hugh Jackman, he has received from ‘Les Miserables’ co-star Russell Crowe. Jackman is thankful for all the good will sent but he is more thankful for all the movie roles Crowe rejected. Russell Crowe was the one who recommended producers to consider Hugh Jackman in the roles of ‘Wolverine’ in ‘Xmen’ and ‘Drover’ in ‘Australia’.
Now they will be joining for the first time in the adaptation of the successful stage musical ‘Les Miserables.’
