Previously I wrote about the character actor, Henry Ian Cusick, who will be appearing as a guest-star in the medical-crime drama Body of Proof. The Scottish performer will portray Trent Marsh, a therapist who will help Dr. Megan Hunt (Dana Delany) in a homicide investigation that involves some of his patients.
Henry Ian Cusick as Trent Marsh
Cusick’s will appear in two episodes of the medical-crime drama, the first one, episode 7, titled ‘Eye for an Eye‘ would premiere on February. Episode 13, titled ‘Daddy Issues‘ would air on May 7, 2013. Information on these episodes is rather scarce, but one thing is certain Cusick has kept himself busy.
The actor from Lost is set appear in the police-drama CSI: Las Vegas in episode 16, titled “Last Woman Standing” which will premiere on Wednesday, February 27.
Among other projects the famous actor is wrapping up Neo noir mystery/thriller titled “The Girl on the Train,” Cusick works alongside Stephen Lang (White Irish Drinkers), and Nicki Aycox (The Employer).
Today Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, showed through his Twitter account the new poster of his latest film SNITCH. The film will be in theaters on February 22, 2013.
The movie poster comes with the slogan “How far would you go to save your son?” the former wrestler stated he was honored to work in this film based on a true story. However SNITCH promises a lot more than just stunts, which are the main attraction. In the trailer there’s a glimps of 18-wheeler and the good old hand-to-hand action (that many of us enjoy).
Dwayne Johnson twitts about SNITCH
SNITCH stars Dwayne Johnson (Scorpion King), Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead), Susan Sarandon (Alfie), Benjamin Bratt (Private Practice), Harold Perrineau (Lost), among others. The movie is being directed by Ric Roman Waugh, you’ll probably remember his work from the scifi hit Total Recall back in 1990.
On the other hand, Johnson, a former WWF wrestler, has emerged as a truly charismatic and aggresive leading man, who by now has shown some real range of performances.
SNITCH is Dwayne Johnson‘s new film, a fast-pace action thriller of a father (Johnson) whose teenage son is wrongly accused of a drug distribution crime and now faces a mandatory minimun prison sentence of 10 years. Desperate and determined to save his son at all costs, he makes a deal with the U.S. attorney (Susan Sarandon) to work as an undercover DEA informant and infiltrate a drug cartel with the help of an ex-con (Jon Bernthal). Without a care the father risks everything, including his family and his own life.
The movie is inspired by a true story, the screenplay was written by Justin Haythe (The Lone Ranger, Revolutionary Road, The Clearing) and adapted by the film’s director Ric Roman Waugh.
The film stars: Dwayne Johnson (Scorpion King), Nadine Velazquez,Jon Bernthal (Shane in The Walking Dead), Susan Sarandon (Alfie), Harold Perrineau (Michael from Lost), Barry Pepper (Saving Private Ryan), Benjamin Bratt (TV series Private Practice)
This action thriller will premiere on February 22, 2013
Scottish actor Henry Ian Cusick will appear as guest-star in the medical-crime drama Body of Proof. Dana Delany’s character Megan Hunt has her way into the minds of her victims. Now she will have some help getting into the heads of her suspects.
Cusick will play Trent Marsh, a therapist whose patients are being investigated in a homicide case by Megan Hunt and detective Tommy (new cast member MarkValley).
The appearance of Cusick in Body of Proof is related to Delany’s character, Megan, when she seeks out help after a secret from her family’s past comes back to haunt her in Episode 7.
The Girl on the Train, written and directed by LarryBrand, is a neo-noir thriller starring HenryIanCusick, (Lost, Fringe) along with NickiAycox (Jeepers Creepers II, X Files) and StephenLang (White Irish Drinkers, Avatar) are the main cast of this indie film.
Cusick portrays Danny Hart a documentary filmmaker, who board a train at Grand Central Terminal, heading to upstate NewYork. A bizarre encounter between Cusick’s character and Aycox leads Hart on a journey of a different sort. Now Hart is forced to forgo his pleasant life for a world in which the line between fantasy and reality gets blurry.
Where on EARTH is “Lost” leading man, Matthew Fox?? Checking IMDB we can see that after “LOST” his next big project will be along Brad Pitt on World War Z, a zombie apocalypsis project, YEAH we didn’t have enough of them already. Since the 2010 the project is going on, so it better be good.
Henry Ian Cusick could play Tommy Volker a potentially shady brotha… in a three-episode arc in the upcoming 5th season of The Mentalist.
