Eventually when someone who becomes legendary and eternal past away it will instantly lead to a movie produced by Hollywood. After Steve Jobs death in 2011, immediately the press start yelling “MOVIE, MOVIE” and it was obvious. Jobs Stanford Speech has been viewed by millions of viewers so there is a valuable reason that might think people want to know about this technological groundbreaking pioneer.
Nowadays, there are two Steve Jobs films in the menu. One is being produced by Sony with Steve Wozniak counseling, meanwhile the other called ‘jOBS’ is starred by Ashton Kutcher and Josh Gad. The latter is being the center of the controversy due to the critics presented by Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak. The critics are based rely on crappy scripts, from poor acting and nonexistent scenes.
“I was approached early on [for JOBS]. I read a script as far as I could stomach it and felt it was crap.” Woz told TheVerge.com. He also explained that the focus jOBS followed has gone too commercial.
“The Sony people got in contact with me too and in the end I went with them. You can’t do both and be paid.” Steve Wozniak apparently exposed that there is a huge difference between projects that have made them completely opposite from each other.
The point of view of their [Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs] personalities and relationship was badly oriented as well as the topics they discussed. “The early script did things like promote drugs in ways that were as foreign as the clip I saw. For example, it would have Jobs offering me drugs. I never saw Jobs do drugs nor had any offers from him.”
