Seth MacFarlane: “There will be a Family Guy Movie”

One of the biggest names in Animation and in American Comedy nowadays is Seth MacFarlane. The writer and director of the movie “Ted” has confirmed that his first Animated Sitcom, Family Guy will take the step to the big screen in the coming years.

Even though Seth MacFarlane has become a well-known name in the past years due to the success of “Ted” and the constant comedy features on his three animated sitcoms. MacFarlane is a devoted writer that had being working on television since 1995, and I just found out he has written one of my favorite animated shows I used to watch when I was 8 years old. He was one of the writers of “Johnny Bravo”, “Dexter’s Laboratory” and “Cow and Chicken”.

MacFarlane has also participated as an actor in series like Crank Yankers and Robot Chicken. The precise and detailed humor MacFarlane has brought to each and every one of his creations is the responsible for their succeses. Series like Family Guy, The Cleveland Show and American Dad are present in the list of Popular Animated Sitcoms along side epic and legendary “The Simpsons” and Matt Groening exquisite child, Futurama.

Family Guy Creator states it had been hard to find a proper plot so precise that it can fit the movie format. Although he presents himself as fan of “The Simpsons” Movie in 2008, he didn’t the plot presented. He believed the plot was okay for a regular episode but not for the big screen.

Family Guy is currently starred by the voices of Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mila Kunis, Mike Henry and Patrick Warburton.
