In 2012, the latin star created the Foundation ‘Maestro Cares’ along side Chicago businessman, Henry Cardenas. The Foundation first project was addressed to the orphanage Children of the Christ, the same one the singer has visited the year before. The plan consisted on a residence expansion, classroom installation and the construction of a baseball field for the kids to entertain. The funding directed to the orphanage was about 200 thousand dollars.

Last friday, November 23, on the ceremony of the laying of the first stone, Marc Anthony spend the time taking photos with the kids of the orphanage, that then were uploaded to his Facebook Page, with the phrase “What a special morning!”
