If you are being chased by a pack of wolves, elephants, rhinos, giraffes or lions, and suddenly from your guts, came out the words “Jumanji”, well we can reach to the conclusion that you are over 20 years old.
The film industry is beginning the production for the remake of “Jumanji”, the 90s movie based on the life of a rich geek kid who travels in time after playing a board game he found in his backyard called “Jumanji”. Almost 25 years after, the little boy return, now as a ground up man and with the help of his school crush and a couple of brothers who are now living in his house, they will all finish the game together. The movie is starred by Robin Williams, Bonnie Hunt and Kirsten Dunst.
It was a bit shocker for the media, the decision of bringing another remake to nowadays, and many didn’t give them too many hopes. Apparently the project will go on, now that they have chosen Zack Helm as the screenwriter for the remake.
Helm has worked before writing the comedy-drama “Stranger than Fiction” which has a 7.7 average in the IMDB grade. The movie was starred by Will Ferrell, Queen Latifah, Emma Thompson and Dustin Hoffman.
There are no confirmation news about Robin Williams returning to the remake.
