Hugh Jackman seems to be eager to return to X-Men: Days of Future Past and work once again with director Bryan Singer to reprise his role as the Canadian savage Wolverine.
While promoting his latest film, Les Miserables, Hugh Jackman took the time to talk about his friendship with Aussie actor Russell Crowe, who turned down Wolverine and recommended his name to Bryan Singer- Jackman also mentions he is already in talks for X-Men: Days of Future Past, the famous actor joked that there will be four claws in the movie.
“There is an X-Men: First Class Sequel which Bryan Singer is directin, which I think is awesome.” Jackman told Access Hollywwod. “It started with Bryan. I know fans are super excited. I did a three hour three word cameo in the last one. Literally it took me three hours. And I have been talking to Bryan about doing something in this.”
X-Men: Days of Future Past is based on 1980′s comic series set in a Post-Apocalyptic alternate future, where mutants are hunted like animals by powerful sentinels. The upcoming movie of Bryan Singer has a July 18, 2014 release date starring Ian McKellen (Magneto), Patrick Stewart (Proffesor X), Michael Fassbender (Young Magneto), James McAvoy (Young Xavier), Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult.
Jackman will also be starring as Wolverine in James Mangold‘s The Wolverine on July 26, 2013.
