Director Josh Trank is now helming Twentieth Century Fox‘s reboot of the Fantastic Four, the film would be released on March 6th, 2015.
Surprisingly enough the movie’s script was already written by Michael Green (Heroes) and newcomer Jeremy Slater.
Trank is known for directing his first feature movie, the 2012 Twentieth Century Fox film, Chronicle (2012).
At the moment there are no details on the film, most fans just want they skip the whole origin story. I for one like them, but it would be great if they picked up a great Fantastic Four story arc with the characters already established as superheroes. The new Fantastic Four film will feature an entirely new cast in the roles of the Invisible Woman, the Thing, Mister Fantastic and the Human Torch.
In other news Fox also announced that The Wolverine, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters will all be released in 3D, but that shouldn’t come as any surprise to you.
The movie it now titled THE FANTASTIC FOUR, fans can expect to see Reed Richards, Susan Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm return to cinemas on March 6th, 2015.
