In 2009, 20th Century Fox Studios tried to produce a film about the manga series. The result was a disaster among angry and disappointed fans. With a budget of 49 million dollares, the movie only could earn in world wide box office 57 million dollares. The critics have gave the movie a rate of 3.1 on the Internet Movie Database.
Taking the movie “DragonBall: Evolution” as a comparative, this 6-minute clip achieved what the film project couldn’t. Good reviews by keeping the film productions as closer to the original manga as it can, and not making its own version.
