It’s official. The CW has announced ‘90210‘ won’t return for a sixth season and will wrap up its run at the end of the fifth that will closures on May 13 of this year. The ending will be paired with a retrospective similar to CW Series, ‘Gossip Girl’ and ‘One Tree Hill‘.
The CW President, Mark Pedowitz, stated the following “The CW has had five great seasons with America’s favorite zip code“
90210 became notorious for their guest stars appearance: Ryan Lochte, The Kardashians, Diego Boneta, Robin Givens, Nick Carter, Dina Meyer, Carly Rae Jepsen, Grant Gustin, Denise Richards, Brandy, Samantha Ronson, Joe Jonas, Latoya Jackson, Carmen Electra, among others.
The stars from ‘Beverly Hills 90210‘ reboot have started to express their feelings through their twitter accounts.
Jessica Stroup, who plays Silver, tweeted this “Oh Silver, our time has come to an end but you are a part of me forever. Thanks to the fans who have been along for the ride, all my love. X”
Tristan Wilds who portrays Dixon Wilson on the show, sent the message “What a day…..”
Jessica Lowndes whose character Adrianna put the conflictive and disturbed element on the show, write two tweets about the situation. “I feel very blessed that I had the opportunity to play Adrianna these past 5 seasons. Thank you for your endless support. I love you guys xo“, the first tweet expressed. “To my amazing cast, I have LOVED working with each and every one of you. I’m excited to see what you all do next! I expect great things. xo”
One of the main actresses, AnnaLynne McCord, tweeted two messages, one of them thanking the unconditional love from her fans (“Hi Every1! Thk u 4 all of the spprt 4 so long I’m srry u aren’t gtting the proper send off u deserve, but plz kno how much ur luv means 2me!“) and the other announcing there will be only three days of shooting for her character.
